It's About Time

It's been a long time since I last posted (2 months almost).
It's not easy finding time to do those creative things I love.
It's about time I got back to quilting and blogging.
For once in a long time, I have a few free days.

And here's what I did...
Pin basted my Dilly Dally pinwheel quilt.
Just loving all the bright cheerful colors.
 And the white dots.
It is progress and I should be able to begin quilting soon.
Well as soon as my son goes back to Oregon
since he's staying in my sewing room for the holiday.

But I really don't want his time here to go by too fast.
It's so great to visit but it always seems too short.

At least I have something else to look forward to.

Hope your holidays are enjoyable and you
are finding time to spend with family and friends.

Thanks for visiting!

Nice to see you again Wendy! Good on you getting the quilt basted - the minute your son disappears down the drive you will be able to pull out your machine!!!

It looks lovely Wendy, so spring-like! My son's bedroom is my sewing room too, so like you I am torn between itching to get back to the sewing machine and enjoying having him and my d-i-l around.

You and I are in the same boat Wendy. I have struggled to blog of late and I just feel that I have nothing to blog about atm. Loving that quilt!

I'm loving the polka dot fabric that you used in this quilt. It adds a touch of whimsy to the pinwheel pattern. Also loving those prairie points. Very nice indeed:)
