Back to the Bee Blocks

So I managed to get Shannon's block finished. This is for the Let's Bee Together swap.  Isn't the fabric adorable?  She's got in in a variety of colors but I got to work with blue, my favorite.
The block pattern is called
ANTIQUE TILE
and Shannon chose it from Quilterscache.
I just couldn't resist taking more photos!

I have one more to show you as well.

This is August's bee block for the same swap above.
Let me tell you, I was nervous when I found out Colleen
wanted a WONKY star because, honestly, I have trouble
with wonky.  My brain almost refuses to function without symmetry!
But, I was grateful for a pattern I could follow to be sure it ended up being
the right size. So, here it is:
My first EVER wonky star!
I hope Colleen liked it.

Such pretty blue flowers! And I had to make wonky stars for Bee blocks, and I understand your pain. It's just not right. LOL!

I love my block!! I am so glad you had fun making it. Your other block is so cool. I love wonky star. You know what is funny, I am a part of Linda's other bee, Block Swap Adventures, and wonky stars are my preference. So funny!!

Both blocks are fabulous but I have absolutely fallen in love with the fabric choices in your blue block.

I love blues as well. Wonderful block and the wonky also. I've never made a wonky, but it's on my to do list.

I think I love wonky stars Wendy! They must appeal to my whimsical sense of humour. What a beautiful shade of blue your other quilt pieces are! Have a lovely day.

Love your wonky star-great job! I had wanted to do one larger one with a small one in the corner and it ended up sending me to the store for more fabric because I ruined 2 blocks in the process. What a mess!
